You have piles Mary.

dr said no piles. possible anal fissure. i had a large skin tag removed last year. it bleeds and itches and after bm throbs for about 20 mins

hi mary, that looks like skin tags which normally accompany a fissure. Are you experiencing intense pain after BM?

yes but not after ever bowel movement if i go more than once thats when it hurts. i saw a general surgeon who removed a large skin tag but i am still no better off. the itching drives me nuts, as dies the burning, have since moved province so have been referred to another general surgeon.

well throbbing is a primary symptom of abscess ,the anal region looks like swelled ,so i am worried its hemorrhoids too , it’s time to change your doc ,keep us updated ,and fissure pic is rare until it’s a massive cut ,may god heal you

thank you its hard not to worry about things like anal cancer. i have an appointment next week with my gp and then i guess i just have to sit it out and wait for appointment with surgeon

anymore images with it spread a little? hard to tell whats going on. sort of looks like another skin tag forming.

I look exactly like that Mary, and have a fissure which doesn’t bleed, it used to a couple of years ago, and I have throbbing and pain that lasts for hours after a bowel movement. The skin tags are the remnants of piles, It doesn’t look like anything to worry about. The pain from a fissure is awful.

thank you Laura, what treatment have you had

Taking laxido and magnesium daily, haven’t had any other treatment as being investigated for lichen sclerosus, so a lot of pain down there, the colo rectal surgeon didn’t want to do anything and after confirming with a sigmoidoscopy, passed me on to a gynae consultant, who passed me on to a dermatologist. So still going through it.
