For quiet some time now I have been getting vaginal bumps on my left "lip". they have the same colour as my skin and are very swollen. The first time I got them, i used rubbing alcohol and a cortisone balm to treat them. they completely went away. however I have now gotten a new one. not in the same place (the area below my first ever bump). I did shave again a week ago and now I have gotten a new bump. haven't noticed it, however its the first one that hurts when touched! I tried popping it but only a little bit on clear liquid and some blood came out. Is it herpes?
Ps: it's weird that it's ONLY on the left side of my vulva. I imagine that if it was herpes, it would've spread by now
those two are the first ones. (the one next to the clit was the one that appeared and vanished last)

The only sure way of knowing if this is herpes is to get swabbed for it when the lesions next appear. It’s a tall order, with lockdown etc.
Clinically, herpes is a recurrent condition and often reappears in the same area. So it’s worth monitoring the location that you notice your spots reappearing and see if further recurrences involve the same area or thereabouts. Take a few photos (not too close-up) as a reference and share this with your doctor when you get to see them.
It seems like the timing of the bumps coincide with you shaving. Is this correct? So maybe there’s a more innocent explanation, such as folliculitis.
