Hi! I am 43 and 2 years on hrt, cyclical type, pills 2 mg. It suits me well and feel normal, no problems. I d like to ask if patches are safer regarding breast cancer risks and if I have to change. My gyn say that if I feel ok to stay on bills and there is no big difference regarding breat cancer, only regarding clots.
hi Vicky, I would say if what you are on is working then stick with it. I dont have a heightened breast cancer risk, but i use hrt patches, which are absorbed directly into blood stream rather than having to swallow a pill that needs to be processed through liver.
