So, I had a pilonidal sinus and had surgery to drain it on Thursday 26th March.
I had to have the wound packed, the wound is no larger that a large raisin; I’m on day 7 of packing and I was wondering how much longer I am to have it in, as the wound is extremely itchy.
I understand that it has to heal from the inside out. But for a small wound I’m worried having it open for this long would effect the healing process.
