Hello, my pin was removed Tuesday the 25th it did not hurt at all, but it’s very sore and still swollen. I am wondering how long it will be like this I forgot to ask my doc. cause I go back to work July 8th.
Hello. For me the swelling and pain due to the pins removal lasted about a week to 10 days but after I started walking there was a different kind of swelling and pain that can last for months. In my case it will last for about six months especially after walking.. If you are working sitting on a chair you will be good to go until July 8th. Good luck and hope you recover soon!
Thanks but I walk 7.5 hours a day and that’s what I am afraid of my feet hurting
oh that is not gonna be easy..My doc personally told me that there will be swelling and pain for months and when that happens I need to lift my feet up on a chair…I have to constantly walk and stand at my job for 9.5 hours a day so i’m not going back for a while 
i think it would be better to talk with your doctor just to be sure it’s safe for you
