Had my second eye done a week ago and have noticed my house suddenly has items I recall as beige or brownish that nowhave a rosy hue. Have checked with my husband who says no they are not. Anyone else experience this and does it go away? I also am seeing some of what looks like shaky wrinkled cellophane in the left corner of my near vision corrected eye. Most annoying but the doc says it will go away. ANYONE else?
Colours will look brighter or seem a different hue after cataract surgery - cataracts give everything a brownish tint. I was simply amazed at clolours for awhile.
I guess it can be described in various terms. I only had a slight shimmer when light was to the side of my left side. Didn’t happen with right eye surgery. Some say it’s the effect of light striking the edge of the IOL. Some see a flickering. For myself it did diminish with time.
How’s the vision otherwise?
Thanks SUE, My eyesight is getting better each day as I adjust to the new lens.I called the doctor yesterday and he saw me right away…I was impressed it is a very busy eye center. He says the lens looks ok and spoke about a viscous like substance in the eye that may collect on that side and will likely be absorbed over time. We will monitor. anyone else know about this?
