Pink piece of upper gum peeling?

I have swelling on my jaw with bumps and my inner gum is peeling. This has happened before and they tend to heel in about a week. What could this?

Are the bumps inside your mouth or on your jawline outside?

They are on the skin of my face.

I'm thinking this is gum disease,but it may be quite deep seated underneath your teeth,which is causing the bumps on your jaw. You should see a dentist for an exploratory examination and jaw xray.
