I'm 18 years old, have no notable skin conditions except dandruffs and like not serious eczema on my scalp only. I've noticed a patch on my right arm that formed a little bit after I popped a pimple in the same location. I don't know if popping pimples can cause patches like this, but I've had it for like 6 months now. Sometimes it gets a little itchy and I scratch it, and it gets pink like in the picture and stays like that for a few days before becoming lighter pink again. It doesn't hurt or feel hard. The skin also looks different than my normal skin and is sometimes dry. At the moment of taking the picture, it feels warm to the touch (not sure if it's always warm, I think only if I scratch it). Anyone knows what this is? It's about as big as a coin and used to be less visible. I haven't contacted my doctor yet because I thought it would go away but I'm starting to worry and I can't find what it could be online. I don't have any other patches like this anywhere else on my body.
*my bf theorized that I could have been bitten by something, which is possible, although why would it leave a patch for that long?

Possibly either eczema or a patch of psoriasis.Get some 1% hydrocortisone cream from the chemist/pharmacy and rub a small amount into it every day, once a day for 2 weeks. Dont use any longer than 2 weeks. If it doesnt clear up then its probably neither eczema or psoriasis, so you may need a doctors advice. You could also try Cerave dry skin cream which is excellent for calming down rashes like this. Cerave is not a steroid and you can use it as long as you wish, but if this patch continues to spread then do talk to your doctor.
