Can someone please help me I’ve been getting pins and needles in my hands for a while now does anyone else get this 😥😥😥
Yes it's a common side effect but also if you have a anxiety attack an adrenaline rush will do this. I get it in my arms and legs. It's awful!!
It's all part of the side effects of this medicine..it will pass ..ask DC.for diazapam .don't suffer.
I never used to get it on fluoxetine 😥
Until I changed to citalapram and quatiapine
I'm sure It will settle as your meds do. I find I need to keep busy. If I don't do something playing a game on my phone and watching something funny on tv is a good distraction
Well that’s a concern for me that the pins and needles are a common side affect. I went to the doctor with my main problem the pins and needles in the head. I was prescribed 20Mg’s of Citalopram on top of the 100 Mg of Imipramine I’ve been on for centuries . 2 weeks in and the Pins and Needles have just about done me in. I’m ready to pull the plug on Citalopram but that just puts me back at square one. I was probably 75% confident this might work but sad to say I’ve dippped to about 25% and hanging on by a thread.
I have also went to the doctor for pins and needles in my head. And yes celexa magnified it..but after three months it started subsiding.thank goodness...but it did take away the paresthesia in my head...I recovered in 8months..every one is different..and iam on 10 milligrams.take care
Thanks. I hope I’m a little luckier than you and the parestnesia subsides a lot sooner. The amazing thing so far is it seems to be on one day and off the next. I can’t believe I’m that screwed up to develop a pattern like that but I have. Lol. Thanks again
Yes before the celexa my paresthesia was horrible.i didn't know what was happening..after brain scans blood work every thing clear..it was all anxiety..so yes it cycles like you said.and eventually it will disappeared..
