Am awaiting appt Re left hip and have constant pins and needles in my foot !
Has any one else experience d this ?
I also had pins and needles along with spasms in my right leg,pains in groin, ankles and buttocks and thigh, before my hip replacement i had that done thursday, mine was bone on bone and i had a terrible limp their were other ladies on the ward that had intermittent pain who had no limp so mine was quite bad,just glad its all done now and having a good recovery which upto now all is well.😀
If your experiencing pins and needles in your foot after surgery it could be from nerve damage. I have experienced it for the past 7 months along with numbness and weakness to my foot. I was told this is common after anterior hip replacement and could last 2 years or more before the nerve calms down and regenerates.
