hi all wondering if anyone can help I’m currently on pip but want to claim dla for my son could you tell me if you can? while I’m on pip can i still claim for him ?will I loose my pip if I do ? thanks in advance

Hi DLA is no longer available so if your son has disabilities you need to claim PIP on his behalf.
Just because one member of a family claims PIP doesn’t stop another from making a claim.
Remember though that PIP is totally different from DLA as it is points based but you will know that being on it yourself.

Thanks for the reply my son is only 8 so it will be dla for him, I wasn’t sure if I could apply for it because I had pip, thanks for getting back to me.
