Hi everyone im new on here, just would like to find out about the time scale on backdated money from a tribunal win if possible. Many thanks guy's and gal's
Approx. 4 weeks
Thank you
Don't want to put a downer on you but they have one calendar month to decide if they want to take it to the upper tribunal if they decide not to take it to upper tribunal then payments could be paid within one calendar month don't want to be negative but I have been through it myself and I think it is better to know all the information
Hey that's is for the Info really appreciate it.
I will most probably give them a fone tomorrow and find out what's happening but I won my tribunal without any medical evidence because I had only seen the psychiatrist 2 days before my tribunal and couldn't get medical evidence in time do even if they do go to the upper tribunal I will have medical evidence
That's good hope all goes well 4 u and all sorted soon
I neil it's was about 6 weeks
Starting next year there will be 180 new 'Presenting Officers' whose job it will be to attend Tribunal hearings to argue for the DWP. The government are doing this at the cost of millions to try to stem the 60% of appeals being overturned with the claimant winning.
The DWP will stop at nothing to ensure that they are not ruled as being wrong.
David meets Goliath springs to mind - with the claimant having to defend themselves against an experienced and qualified 'prosecutor'.
