Hi i had pip assessment on the 05/10/2016 anyone no roughly no how long it takes

Hi Lisa I had my assessment on 19/09 and got my award on 20/10 ...hope its not too long for you x

Mine was 4 weeks from assessment to decision which i got on a Wednesday by phone and letter came on the Thursday so your not far off

Thank u for your reply . Its so nerve racking waiting . Does it take as long for them to send a letter and decide if not been awarded. Im new to all this just the anxiety is so bad and to wait since aug to get to where i am now would be awful if wasnt successful.

Mine was pretty straight forward Lisa....from 5th September till the 20th October from start to finish...good luck x

To be honest I have no idea as I was awarded both at enhanced rate, I suppose mine was quite straight forward as I can't walk, I think it all depends on the amount of backup paperwork you submit to backup your claim

Mine took ablout three weeks from the assessment, Good luck.

I first applied in august and got my assessment 5th october. I had all my eveidence from the doctor and hospital so i have everything crossed . Xx

So do they call u with the descision ? Or did u call them ? I had a text on the 7th october saying they had everything they need to make the descison xx

I had mine on the 17th October I got a text message week later saying that they have all the information they need and I will receive a decision by letter soon anyway I rang them up last weds abd they told me my claim was with a case manager I asked how long would it be he said anything up to 4 week's give them a call hun they will either say decsion been made or its still waiting to be looked at its such a horrible waiting game as soon as I hear anything I will message you abd let you know hope you hear very soon hun xx

Hi called them last week i was told they will send message when descision has been made then to call back for the descison as letter can reach up to 7 days before its deliverd by post..... i just very anxious as after all the waiting can still be turned down such a wait if ur not awarded it . Dont no what i would if was. Thanks for your reply xxx

I rang on the Thursday and got my decision got my letter the following Thursday...my advice is ring them after 3 weeks

Was successful thanks...grateful for the award but rather be back at work 😏

Thank you well this is the 4 week now 5th october my assessment was so ill them towards the end off the day. Thanks again for ur reply and advice xx

I'm like you would honestly give it all back if you could walk and be independent, its helped but would sooner not need help

I was told by phone day before letter arrived, only rang because I had a text message regarding decision

Ive just called for any updates still with descison maker has been since the 7th off this month
