I am 10 weeks post patellar femoral replacement, doing fairly well; still some swelling and stiffness but now.....deep down to the bone itching! What the heck ??

When I went back for my six week checkup, I asked my surgeon about the itching, he said it was all to do with the heat inside the joint and was quite normal. He also said it could last for up to a year! Thankfully it didn't.
try rubbing with vitamin E oil or just lotion if that's all you have
If it's like mine was Kathy, it felt really deep inside the knee, not on the skin. It was an itch you couldn't scratch! Drove me mad in bed.
Yes, this is deep.....not on the surface at all!

Almost 6 months since my TKR. Itching inside the knee and especially at the back is driving me mad. Have almost got used to the general discomfort, but the itching ! Did it go, or did you do something to help it to go ?
