Please can anyone help? iv been of the pill for 8 wks now the first 4 wks wre fine and had itercourse fne. then one nght me my bf of 10yrs hd quite rough sex, that night i had awful tmmy pains and next tree days heavy bleeding npains ( not sure if period or not as very rarely had them on crazette) after tge bleed finished i had urgancy to urinate with stinging so had antibiotics from docs. now the stingin has stopped but my badder stil feels full even after emptying and iv gt such a strange feling of vginal discomfort nearly all the time. iv been teated for trush but no dfferent, nt preg, checked for std nothin. so now waitin for gynea appt n utrasound scan ... but my dpression is setting bk in a iv jst had enough of it now no answers, plus i feel im wstin time where i could b tyin to conceive. i had a clear smear last nov too. has anyone ever experienced this? please comment x

Not experienced this but I wonder if the neck of your bladder is a bit bruised and swollen following the rough sex. It's a possibility and could take a while to settle
Thanks it did pass my mind but with the docs nt syin anything i wasnt sure. its been four weeks tho do u think it could tke that lng? all my cultures have come bk clear so its a pssibility thanks x
hi mimi :just curious....did your dr do a urine culture AND a vaginal culture? vaginal cultures can catch things that urine cultures will not
Hi Flowergirl, yes i had urine cultures done which came back -tive and also swabs which were -tive too. I had a vaginal ultrasound done sat just gone which was really painfull feel battered n bruised now 
its a bugga coz the vaginal burning had about gone n now im back to stage one so im now asuming i have 2 different things goin on. I think the vaginal pain n burning must have been from the rough sex ... never again! If its gunna take m9nths to recoop n iv sum sort of bladder thing goin on. The ultrasound was normal so im now being referred to urology.... just wsnt to get back in control of my body
I too have had the feeling of lower abdomial pain and feeling lots of bladder pressure after I go to the bathroom. I went to the Dr for this and all they told me that there was nothing wrong. They did blood work quick exam and told me I was fine.. I did not feel fine and I left frustrated. Went to my urologist and he said the same thing.. I guess I have to deal with this and keep taking pain meds for the rest of my life.. Hope you get some relief.
Hi Angie iv just come back from thd hosp just had a flexi cystoscopy and watched it all on a tv. He sais it looked fine n as it should for a 28yr old. So now im waiting for gynea appt. Im now wondering if im imagining things?! Argh why are our bodies such complex things?? All i want really really want is to feel in control of my body again and a baby. But sex just feels wierdly uncomfortable n even more so afterwards so iv been delaying it which makes matters worse coz i want a family so much for me & my partner.
Has any1 else had wierd tingling sensation around the clitoris which makes them feel the need to wee even after emptying?
Hi mimi,Yes, I have felt the tingeling feeling as well as all of the other symptems just like you I have had a systoscopy done and they told me everything is ok. How frustrating, I mean I am glad that everything looks ok but, I want some answers as to why I feel so full all the time and lower back pain and when I go to the bathroom my lower bladder hurts and afterwards I get the bubbles, Which I believe are coming from my urethra. My only relief is to have a urethral dialation and that takes the tingeling feeling away but not the bubbles that come out after I go to the bathroom. usually after I have the dialation I am ok for about a year. I am 46 and have been married for 27 years, This all started when I was in my late 20's after I had my children. I too am worried when it comes to intamicy with my husband so I refrain from it as much as I can.
