Hi guys, im on the verge of a panic attack. 3 days ago my dosage was increased and last night i got this huge muscle knot/spasm in my right thigh. It was throbbing for hours and made it hard to sleep. When i woke up today it felt better just a little weak from what it went through but my stomach abs felt tight as if i did sit ups. Could this be from my body tensing due to anxiety or maybe serotonin syndrome? I was fine up until a half hour ago when i took the 200 mg zoloft dose for tonight and decided to google serotonin syndrome and saw the muscle rigidity/spasm symptom. Can anybody give me some quick reassurance or advice? Its so hard to tell and think rational in a panic ive also had crazy gas idk if that could make the stomach tight
I have had serotonin syndrome and it makes you feel really ill and sweaty as well as having stiff muscles.
Hi Ryan, you've not got serotonin syndrome as you would have had a lot more symptoms I than spasm in one thigh.
Youve just got hyper sensitive to aches, pains and twinges due to your anxiety.
You will be ok.
Neil
Thanks thats what im hoping. Can serotonin syndrome occur after youve taken it for a couple days or is it something that wouldve happened the first night?
