A week ago I noticed this bump above my urethra. I kept checking it and it turned into an open sore but now it's healed and doesn't hurt as much. I haven't experienced itchiness or any other symptoms, just that bump. I never had sexual contact with anyone else. I masturbate. Could I have given myself herpes through my hands? Am I at risk?

Technically, you could give yourself herpes by your hands only if your hands were exposed to the genitals of an infected person recently before you masturbated. The chances are minimal.
