Please help I'm so new to this

I have been feeling really weak, tired, fatigued , dizzy , light headed and having panic attacks etc for 4 months. The doctors have tested everything. And by everything I mean EVERYTHING. Normal bloods , cat scan, ultra sound, Echos, Ekgs, Lyme disease, Endocrinology, Neurological stuff. All fine. At this point idk if I should believe it's just anxiety causing me to feel like I'm going to faint 24/7. Causing me to wake up in panic and shaky. Idk what it is but I need it to stop now . I really can't take it. My anxiety stared after recovering from mono but it appears as if my anxiety is keeping me in that "sick state". Is this normal ? I feel so alone. I'm considering pills but then again i don't know because I feel so weak I don't even want to take pills. Is this something that can happen from Anxiety ?

I've been feeling the exact same for around 4 months as well, only for me I also tend to get sharp pains. It seems that the more I stress myself out the more tired and weak I get. Also the more tired I am the higher chance I get panic attacks. I'm not exactly sure what to recommend but if you haven't ate much then try having a snack to see if it helps with the fatigue stuff. Just know u aren't the only one that is dealing with this

Thank you Jacobzz. I can't keep living like this. Not only does it feel bad but it's leaving me very fearful. I was so against meds but I'm really considering it at this point

Yeah I understand what you mean, I hate the feelings/side effects from taking meds as well

Hi. Sorry your feeling like this. Just wanted to reasure you . If you've had all tests, that's a good thing, but many of us know that feeling that we just can't cope with the feeling, waking up every day to this, and we can't believe it's just anxiety. Also lived with it for many years, it can be scary, also frustrating as we just want a gp to tell us how to stop the rotten feelings. Keep reading here and posting here . It helps to know others understand and know how this feels. I thought I was going mad years ago before I realised others feel like this and there is help. Gp's . Counciling, talking when you need to stop your racing worrying thoughts. Others here have great tips on trying to relax, not easy I know, but helps a lot of people, Mindfullness and relaxation , Jan and others really find it helpful 😊❀️

I am literally in the same situation.. except its been 12 months for me. Started with mono symptoms and than had the blood work done just to find out that i had already been infected with it at some stage in my life... either that or the test was done late. I have had the exact same symptoms you are describing plus many more! I cant rest though never have been able to, im always on the go doing stuff doesnt matter how s**t i feel cause if i just lay and rest i feel like im useless..

It has caused me severe health anxiety and i have just started taking cymbalta 30mg for the past 2 weeks. I was fully against meds but i had seen a mental health dr and it just wasnt working for me

Yes christy, all your symptoms can be caused by anxiety. I had all of your symptoms plus more, in my twenties at once suddenly .  I felt so alone too. Was terrified and thought I had a terrible disease. Lo and behold, ALL caused by anxiety!

Just So you know, I'm in my fifties now and I am still here. Lol

Symptoms caused by anxiety cannot hurt you. But I know how terrible they are.

When someone has bad anxiety for a long time, after a while, the body cries out as if to say " I'm over stressed ! Help me!"   That's what the symptoms are.

Symptoms are not the problem.  Problem is that people don't know how to manage anxiety and symptoms arise. I finally learned that and got counseling, Began to do things that relaxed my mind like exercise, meditations on you tube for anxiety, healthy eating, got active and social, stopped taking life too seriously, etc

The more we dwell on the symptoms, the worse they get.

Sometimes we have to put ourselves first because nothing is worth losing your health over.

You can take control.  Mindful meditations on you tube are great for relaxation, anxiety, depression, sleep etc

Theres a book with the same title that teaches you a better way of viewing and managing your anxiety. It's white with a ball of tangled string on the cover. Millions of people have read it and worth reading!

Thank you so much !!! I needed that. I was so sure something was going to be off. But I just get so light headed and nothing's comming back abnormal so I'm very confused

Have you ever gone through anything like that with Anxiety ? Just plan weird symptoms

Hi Jan , WOW how did you cope ? Some days I get so lightheaded and I feel so weak idk what to do and I keep going to the doctors , ER and they still can't find ANYTHING. I'm convinced it's anxiety but how can anti anxiety meds make me feel better ? How can it stop the weakness and light headedness?

I do meditation but it just doesn't work for me . Anxiety is soo bad I'm having insomnia. Really want pills , but Don't know if it will do more damage than good

Hi again πŸ˜ƒ

It was a nightmare in my twenties!   No one was on the internet so I didn't have sites Like this to know I wasn't alone.  I had muscle twitching, eye floaters, ringing in ears and on and on.  My poor parents didn't know what to do. I told them that I think I have MS.  ( dads sister had it).  We all cried.

The neurologist only said to go take a vacation. My test was fine.

Doctors cant do much other than prescribe medication.

Anti anxiety medication like xanax will calm you down and maybe ease up the lightheaded feeling. Won't do much for weakness and honesty it doesn't eliminate anxiety or negative thoughts.  Just temporary help for anxiety.

So then we have to do the rest. The key is to calm down the brain any way we can in our daily lives. We have to work on the negative thinking and anything that creates anxiety.

I found the breathing meditation helped with dizziness symptoms. Or really any anxiety medication. I do them every night at bedtime.

Im not surprised the ER found nothing wrong with you.  Anxiety is a sneaky culprit!!

Take care of yourself! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸😁

Thank you soo much. I let my anxiety push me to the edge. Although I did have mono , things go terrible and intensified because of my anxiety. I just want this to go back to normal . Gonna try to meditate now lol

yes very possible anxiety is like a nightmare its scary and can play a rough time in your mind and body. best advice is to talk to your dr good luck

Guys I can't even stand for 5 minutes without getting dizzy. Not sure if it's mono, anxiety , both or just anxiety. Ugh the doctors have no idea
