This all started back in 2018 with a rash on my left wrist which was likely scabies or contact dermatitis. I have very sensitive skin. I use to do a lot of wood working projects, so I noticed some crazy itching on my right hand. It would come like every 6 to 8 months. I stopped getting sores there and none of my previous or current sexual partners had any symptoms. I only had one sexual partner whom I thought could have passed it along to me during this time period; I experienced a single blister between the head and shaft that was very painful but not itchy. All testing pointed to negative STD results. My last occurrence of the hand blisters was in early 2020, whilst having the blister I received oral sex from someone who had HSV1/2 and had no idea until I asked a few weeks later when the conversation of sex came up. A few months later I got what I thought was an outbreak in my pubic region and have gotten blisters there around 4 to 5 times since mid 2020 to until July 2021 which I thought could be infected hair follicles (Bacterial folliculitis). Two weeks prior the same blistering on my hand started showing on my right foot; very itchy. I did have a positive test of a viral bacterial infection from what I wasn’t told; took anti-biotics and was cleared. Two weeks after my most recent partner who I suspect gave me the bac.infection I got the typical pus filled on my shaft in three different places, no prior pre symptoms of itching or anything, from fine to wtf is this now, extremely sudden. I’m very sure now its HSV2. I’m in a country where testing is a bit difficult to diagnose.
assuming the picture where they are ulcerated after presenting as blisters. i’d say it probably is HSV and probably HSV2 due to the frequency of how many outbreaks you have had in a year. although testing is difficult. Could someone write a prescription for some anti-virals to help ease symptoms during future outbreaks?
I’m definitely going to look into it.
