So I trimmed my pubic region about 4-5 days ago, the next day I had a couple razor burn marks, and a few ingrown hairs I believe, and of coarse I was stupid and picked at the 2 or 3 things that I think are ingrown hairs, over the next day or 2 one of the regions started to kind of look infected, I honestly picked at these hairs until I was bleeding trying to locate the ingrown hair, the other few small bumps aren't as bad and another one is healing pretty good and its only been 3 days since they really appeared, but there is one on the underside of my penis that is bugging me a little. I had no clusters of blisters or really any puss like that, it just seems like it is trying to scan but cannot because it is rubbing on me constantly, but I honestly do not believe it is herpes but I just wanted to talk with some one with experience just to help me out and calm my nerves
For myself personally, my first infection was a cluster of blisters, kind of looked like a scab to be honest. They were pimple like at first but then they got itchy, and there was quite a bit of puss. Also doing ANYTHING was uncomfortable. The only time i felt remotely okay was sitting in a hot bath.
It very well could just be a bad razor rash, try using some coconut oil on it, it helps soothe any discomfort.

Personally I believe that you should go get it checked to be on the safe side. I am going through my first outbreak and mine is very painful when I move and they look like blisters but don't itch or give out puss. Just go see a doctor to be safe.
