no itching no burning no blisters just woke up like this on my thighs. looks somewhat like scratches any ideas?
no its not herpes those look like scratches or scabies
scabies is usually very itchy so most likely u have scratched yourself
I really appreciate your input so thank you very much i just wish i had found this site sooner. Because around i believe Nov. 23/24 i had unprotected sex with a girl and few weeks later i got there red ulcers on my penis near my head. I wish i had pictures They did not hurt or itch and went away fairly quickly and i use cortisone cream. I asked to get tested and she told me she had a yeast infection and chlamydia luckily i got tested Dec. 30th all came back negative and i feel like it hasn’t been enough time to test for herpes. Also and one point i used oil meant for hair growth as lube and im not sure if thats what gave a reaction. And unfortunately after sex with her i engaged in oral sex and a few handjobs and im a little paranoid no. Last encounter was last night, any advice.

u cant delete comments as far as im aware as for the herpes testing 3 months by blood for a reliable result or if u have blisters or spots etc a swab would be the best method of testing
I went after about 5 weeks but after i had oral sex(receiving) and hj’s im not sure if that pushed back the time frame of testing. I got tested 5 week later everything was negative but from Dec. 30th test i have been sexually active and have received and performed oral sex as well as hj’s,my last encounter was last night but it was only a hj. I already ordered a HSV-2 test that i will take sometime within next 2 weeks and then a full 10-panel in 2 months or so. I hope the sores on my penis were either from contact dermatitis, yeast infection or bad reaction to the chemicals in the hair gel. They were never raised bumps, no puss, no yellow discharge, no pain no itching just red flaky sores that healed after i used one of those creams you mostly use for bacterial infections.
it may have been irritation to wateva u applied to it or could have been some kind of fungal issue as both could cause sore skin and flakin skin u should try not to worry it may turn out to be nothing
