So I’ve had these bumps for about 3 months now. My vulva started to itch a few days after having sex with my boyfriend at the time. We used condoms and lube and also didn’t throughout the course of the night. At first, I assumed the itching was some kind of allergy reaction but it kept progressing. I’ve been misdiagnosed about 3 times now. The doctors thought it was thrush and those medication didn’t work. I did an STI and Pap smear test and they were both negative. The only thing that came up was a positive to Hsv1 (herpes 1) /oral herpes which my doctor reassured me that it’s not serious because of a cold sore I had and that it’s nothing to worry about.
I was still worried because they were not going so I went to a different doctor and she suggested we treat the bumps like a cold sore using hsv-1 medicine. It’s been about 4 days and I’m not getting better idk what to do. I don’t have a foul discharge, everything is normal expect they itch from time to time. I’m losing my mind here please help
