Hi,
Long story short. I always wanted to become a big guy so I signed up to a gym and bought a couple of boxes of protein, after I've been drinking protein shake three times a day (about 75g of protein, my own weight was around 190lbs) and lifting weighs for about 6-7 months ( I gained around 12 labels of muscle weight during that time) I noticed that I had to pee with pale urine very often (sometimes around 20 times per day, 200-250ml of urine per 30minutes) for a day or two in a week. Then thirst joined so I decided to visit a doctor (I probably visited every doctor as a result):
1. Sugar - fine
2. Thyroid - more or less fine, the only issue is that antibodies to whatever (excuse my English) are a bit high, hormones are totally ok.
3. Tested for 8 types of infections - fine
4. General urine test - fine
5. Kidneys (and the rest of the torso) US - fine
6. Several other kidney tests (I visited a couple of nephrologists) - fine
7. Prostate US - they found some prostate problems, but I assume this could not be causing the symptoms
8. I also took several blood tests (creatinine etc.) which came out fine as well.
I probably forgot to mention some of the tests I passed but all of them came out ok. A couple of doctors sent me to a psychiatrist telling me my disease isn't somatic. I have no idea where does it come from, but here's a detailed description of the way I feel (this started happening about 6 months ago).
1. My lips and mouth are a bit try, I also feel strange taste in my mouth from time to time
2. I sometimes have a pain at my lower back/ribs (those are two different types of pain). When I push my ribs at the left/right side at the bottom I feel the pain's getting more sharp.
3. I sometimes feel that my mind isn't clear, it's getting harder to think (not too hard, but I feel a bit slower in my mind)
4. Usually I have less energy than before (before these symptoms started I had been a very active guy, I had always been into sports etc., now I just sit and eat)
5. Sometimes it's not comfortable for me to sleep on a left side, I prefer sleeping on my back.
6. I'm not really sure, but it seems that frequent urination is gone.
As said, I probably visited every doctor I could and all of them said I was totally ok. Am I looking at a wrong direction?
P.S. I have diabetes in my family: mother, brother, granny (type 2, others type 1), I passed several glucose tests and I also bought a glucometer to monitor sugar levels at home, I never saw anything strange there.
I would be happy to hear any advise as I'm already thinking about visiting voodoo shaman.
Thanks.
