I took an HSV 2 IGG test 5 weeks after possible exposure .. it came back negative .. ex sex partner finally told he had a cold sore before as a child and never got it again after and no symptoms of tingling or burning when he performed oral sex on me .. could my test turn to positive in the 9th week when i take the test again ?
It could, but negative at 4 weeks is a good sign, plus you have had no outbreak. You're likely fine.
ok thank you & i did another igg test on january 11 at 9 weeks & it came back negative, i’m going another one at 12 weeks which is on the 29th i’m scared
