please help me:(

For about a year now I’ve suffered with severe health anxiety.

It started with numbness I would feel in my face and arm. The numbness traveled to my leg and back, so I obviously feared I had ms..which resulted in me getting every symptom in the book.

My doctor said that it was not ms, but still gave me blood work, ana test..everything came back normal. I insisted on still getting a brain mri and that also came back normal.

My new symptom that has been going on for a month now is my tongue. It feels so large in my mouth that I have a hard time talking. I’ve been obsesssed with looking at it in the mirror and I noticed little bumps way in the back and on the back sides. It seriously has not gone away.

This is ruining my life

Anxiety can cause dry mouth and make your tongue feel large.  I experienced this sensation.  Dry mouth can also cause ulcers and sores in your mouth.  This happened to me when my anxiety increased when trying a new med.  Have you started a new med recently?  It could be a side effect.

PS try chewing gum.

I second what MarvinMartian said. I have also experienced the same symptoms as a result of anxiety. Now I have more problems going on in my  with my mouth and throat, neck.

Thank you for your reply. I have not been on any meds but I do experience on and off dry mouth.

Just so distracting and can’t help but think everything is always something serious
