PLEASE HELP - Severe upper-mid abdominal pain for 2+ months

Hi guys, I'm 20 years old with no previous health concerns, only notable thing being my on and off sore back from sports over the years. However, two months or so ago, literally overnight, I noticed crippling abdominal pain. This lasted about a week until I was prescribed with omeprazole which seemed to help to an extent, although some pain persisted. Fast forward 6 weeks, I have an endoscopy and all they found is a little esophagitis and tell me to continue with the modified diet and medication, having got likely GERD. However, despite being fantastic with my diet etc and sticking to the 40mg omeprazole, I have noticed no improvement and even potentially a relapse in pain a few times whereby it seems that the medication is in fact doing nothing. I also had diarrhea for about 3 weeks, 5 weeks into starting omeprazole, which i simply put down to a side effect, however my GP told me to check its nothing more via submitting a stool test which apparently came back with high inflammatory levels - ie, inflamed bowels. Again, a part of me thought that maybe this could be a side effect of the omeprazole but since the medication hasnt been working, its got me wondering, could my symptoms be something else? In summary, I'm having severe (and i mean crippling at times) abdominal pains (upper- to mid abdomen), as well as indigestion felt in my throat probably only once a week or so, and lots of tiredness. Does anyone have similar symptoms and if so, what are you diagnosed with? Also, any tips on how I can deal with all of this? I'm starting to be really psychologically effected by it. Thank you, id really appreciate any and all help.

Hi,
In my case, it feels like a strong pressure/ache in my upper abdomen that makes super uncomfortable when I sit.
I’ve been diagnosed with gastritis and put on pantoprazole for a little over four months now and I don’t think the pills help me at all because the discomfort is always there. If anything, I’ve started burping excessively since I started with the PPI’s but if I try to skip them, I get really bad rebound reflux. It’s so hard weaning off them. For now, I’m just managing my diet and stress levels.
