i was diognosed with anxiety 3 yrs ago id been on citalopram 2 yrs and was doing great i was in hell before hand, the last few months ive been weaning off it i went from 20mg everyday down to 10mg then 10mg every other day until i was on 10mg every 3rd day id been great until a couple weeks ago and it all just came back so now im back on it 10mg everyday and this is my 6 th day and my anxiety is hurendous i have really wierd head sensations which differ through out the day its hard to explain kinda like dizzyness, foggy head, pressure, lightheadedness, thick headed or as if im not in my own head, also my mind is going razy with racing thoughts and i just over all feel awful, whats going on with me??? im si frightned im loosing my mind and im going to be stuck like this forever, i have 2 young children and im finding every day things so hard to deal with my head is just driving me nuts im so so scared at how im feeling, am i so bad as i was weening off them n now goin gback on?? please someone help
oh just to add i have this 24/7 
Have you been to your doctor and got a check up/physical?

Hi dizzy, You sound just lile myself, things were going fine, started weening myself off them and then.....BANG. Ive come to realise I NEED citalopram, ive tried doing without 3 times now, I cant. Ive been back on them for 19 days now and im still struggling, hopefully theyll kick in soon! All the best.
Thanx luke sorry ur suffering too but it's nice to know I aint aline, did u get the wierd head sensations too n more anxious?

No, I cant say I had the head sensations, but I did get a very bad churning stomach, what felt like a clamp on my heart, increased ringing in my ears and cold chills running thru my body, im pleased to say these physical symptoms have faded dramatically which of course im very pleased about!

How did they go away?
Hi sharisse, They havent completely gone yet but definitely dont hold as much umph as they did. They appeared after I stopped taking cit, theyve weakened since I started taking 20mg's again.
