I've never had anything like this before and I can't begin to think of what it could be or what could have caused it. I first noticed a little bump on the outside of the lips, but the next day I checked and the spots with white on top appeared inside the labia area. Nothing hurts too much, but there is a little discomfort when touched or when rubbing against clothing. I'm having some darker discharge but no smell. Anyone know what this likely could be? I'm going to see my OB/GYN later next week.
The white scabs are mostly all gone now, and it just looks like empty holes, like if you were to have a scab fall off on a cut. This also was not after intercourse, just out of no where.
This looks like herpes or syphilis. Get it checked to be sure, but it unfortunately looks like one of them. Both of these STI’s can be asymptomatic, and hide within your body for up to multiple years
I’m really hoping this isn’t what that is because I’ve tested for STI’s just earlier this year and everything was clear. Also, my boyfriend has been my only partner for the past almost 3 years. I feel like it’s very unlikely it could be one of those, and I’m hoping it’s not. Would it have shown up on an STI panel if I did have it?
It should show up on an STI panel if it is one of them, but i can’t really think of what else it could be. I recommend seeing your doctor when you can. Like i mentioned, they can hide for years before something appears. Just don’t panic. If it’s herpes then it can be held down with medication and if its syphilis its curable. Just talk with a doctor and don’t panic
