previously been to the GP about 12 months ago who thought Balanitis, didnt want to go back as being very covid concious.
I can have trouble retracting sometimes. just started using steroid cream again. ive just dealt with it but really want it sorting without the embaressment of another Gp visit

Do you have ever had this extreme narrowing in the middle of the shaft?
Have you ever tested for SDT, done analysis of urine and sperm or visited a dermatologist?
hi, the narrowing is only present when foreskin retracted as its gone tight. this all started shortly after i got a slight tear in the frenulum. doctor took a quick look and said ‘Balanitis’. that was about 12 months back now tho.
ive got some new cream to try. i will give it a week and then report back to GP and face up to it
So all this starts after a tear in the frenulum? You should see a dermatologist.
If happened after a trauma to the frenulum, than it would be a traumatic balantis, maybe with a bacterical infection. When the frenulum tear if was sclerotic or white?
i never had any issues prior to it. it seemed to heal itself. Although now when retracting it pulls the head of my penis down towards the base hence the narrowing of the shaft and tight skin.

You need to visit a doctor, a specialist like a dermatologist or urologist, cause this situation could be very concerning
Hi Jerry I think you have a few things going on here first off you have a degree of phimosis with a phimotic ring your frenulum looks to pulling your glans down so it’s short or tight. But most concerning is the discoloration to the glans it could be lichen sclerosus or BXO. You need to have it checked with your doctor ASAP and get a referral to a dermatologist or urologist don’t be embarrassed or worried about seeing the doctor it’s important you do go.
