I've been suffering with healthy anxiety for a little bit now I am a 17 year old male and this sucks please help I feel like I have stomach cancer I've been having pain in my stomach for 3 days now but it's not excrucinating I'm also lactose and tolerance can anxiety cause stomach pain ? Hi Jake, when the body goes into anxiety mode it diverts blood supply from various parts of the body to the muscles and to increase the amount of oxygen to those areas. One of the places it re directs from is the stomach so digestion stops, which can cause stomach ache. P,us the stomach musvles will tense up ready for action again this can cause pain or discomfort.
You haven't got cancer it's just symptoms of anxiety and the anxiety response.
