The skin on my right leg - shin has over the last 6 months become irritated and itchy to the point it is bleeding. Any help and guidance is valued as i dont know what this is?

the first thing i would do is take a antihisamine tablet to calm the itching, secondly i would apply a litlle bit of hydrocortisone cream. if it continues after a while a visit to the doctors. good luck.
