I get recurrent yeast infections my doctor wanted to double check but gave me three rounds of medication cause we were both certain it was yeast. told me to go ahead and take the pills without seeing the results since we were both so sure… but then the tests for yeast were negative. so now I’ve taken two doses of fluconazole three days apart… because my results hadnt come in until today and my vagina is burning… did I over treat it and get rid of the good stuff? what happens when you over treat yeast or treat an infection you didn’t have…am i going to cause an infection of some kind? and what mimics yeast? it isnt bacterial either. I’m worried I just made myself so much worse by not wiating for the results. please help. what should I do.
