i have been sick for days from nerves. long story short. i get cold sores since i was a kid. i gave someone oral and 3 days later i broke out in a cold sore. i had no idea you can pass it to the genitals with no symptoms. its been a month and no word from him about anything. he did have headaches about a week or 2 after for a couple of days and sore throat but nothing else . what are the odds i gave it to him? he was tested but only about a week after and came back negative .
its hard to say if u could have passed it onto him or not its 50/50
if it was a blood test it could be to early to be detected as it can take 12/16 weeks for antibodies to build up if he develops any visable blisters then a swab will need to be done if he dosnt get any sores or blisters he may not even have it
