the thing is my petechiae popped up about the same tome last year and stopped and now its coming back again. despite the blood test coming out fine, im still scared.
Do you have any issues with your stomach? Any bruising, sickness, fatigue? Are you losing weight? Any cuts that do not heal or bleeding gums? If not, it's very unlikely to be anything serious. Bloods would also show a high white count and issues with your platelets.
I would ask your parents if you can see a dermatologist, as it's getting you down and impacting your mental health. They can assess your skin concerns. If you suffer keratosis pilaris it's like just that. And at this time of year the sun brings it out more. Or it could be cherry hemangiomas. I've got several on my upper back. Totally harmless.
Well, the blood work would reveal something is wrong - especially with WBC.
Early this summer I had a shingles outbreak due to severe stress because of family, work, and state of this country. I'm just 33. I like you, freaked out thinking only old people and those with a blood cancer get Shingles. I was crying, I saw similar clear pinpoint raised spots come out in my forearms. I made a whole theatrical act in-front of my doctor. She had to call me down. She did my blood work, and she just sent a letter telling me my blood results came in normal.
So, I'd say go to your primary for reassurance, and from there try to get some help via therapists, counseling since in the long run, you run the risk of stressing so much that you run down you're immune system, and get a shingles outbreak like I, and later I found out, some of my 25 year old friends did.
