pmt diet

Hi just read the notes on PMR Diet, i found it interesting regard the Nori, as i bough some seaweed on holiday to cook with, will try the salts though, and i do eat the other foods as well, mu doctor tested my Magnesium and said it was alright, but eat plenty of nuts.

Many thanks for this information. No need for the book i guess when we have this information and Mrs O : WINK WINK:

OOOOOOPS not pmt - pmr

I have a handful of nuts every day. Cashews, brazils. almonds and pistachios. There is an Italian shop near me that does unsalted nuts at a very good price. You need to be careful with nori if it has added salt. My rheumy says I can eat anything, but must avoid salt! Seaweed is good, you could always try laver bread the Welsh seaweed recipe. Personally I think it is disgusting!

Margaret, I remember someone posting about nori on here a few years ago and thinking it sounded interesting.  Unfortunately not recommended for me as I have to restrict salt due to uncontrollable high blood pressure and reduced kidney function.  I've always loved nuts and have a handful every day: brazil, almonds and walnuts.

Specially for you

Thank you Mrs O it is always nice to hear from you, i will give it a go, as well as nuts i have some seeds as well, but my hubby thinks i overdo it sometimes.

Take care

I think i can eat anything , but laver bread does not sound good to eat i would rather have seaweed in my tofu soup. Thanks

Now see - I quite like laverbread!

I eat nuts too - I buy the large packs of hazelnuts and almonds they sell for baking here and mix equal quanitties in a tub that sits on the table.
