There is a really bad influenza going around the state I live in I had a kidney transplant so I'm immune suppressed and I caught that influenza once then I caught it again after recovering from the first had to be hospitalized a second time caught pneumonia had to be intubated and finally sent home on oxygen I'm off the oxygen now this happened or I was released from the hospital on February 2nd it is now March fourth and I still have tightness in my chest and seem to get out of breath with the slightest exertion even though I'm off oxygen and my saturation level is 97 but my pulse rate goes up if I walk across the room so I'm just wondering how long till that tightness and breathlessness goes away? I don't expect to go away after a week or two but it seems it should be getting better but then I was intubated had influenza twice and had pneumonia I guess I should expect to get better overnight so my question is as anybody else out there had to monia how long did it take for that feeling to go away where you actually felt back to yourself?
