I was diagnosed Oct. 2011, took Prednisolone and the meds that go with it, December 2013, after very slowly lowering the dosage, felt well enough early Jan 2014 to stop all meds. But things have slowly returned, but now have very painful aching and numbness in both arms this is more through the night. Does this sound familiar?.
So sorry to hear of you relapse. I am now reduced to 11mg prednisolone and have started having headaches, mainly at night.I am not sleeping well and am very tired. all the time. I do not see my GP for another 5 weeks, but may have to see him sooner if pain continues. Do hope ypu feel better soon and get some relief.

It's hard having a relapse and some symptoms are worse. I returned to see consultant as having awful reaction to 60mg prednisolone. He told me to drop to 10mg next day. I wasn't at all happy with that so phoned gp. He told me to follow last reduction plan so am on 45 for a week and then drop again . I have had tingling in my right arm but not like yours. What dose are you on ?.
At this moment in time, not on Prednisolone, but highest dose I did take was 9 mgs, at the moment I have had a blood test, and just had results which it seems are okay, but I did google for info on Poly Myalgia, and its stated it doesn't always show on blood tests, so in the process of waiting to see my doctor.
