Hi everyone, Im a 17 year old female. Well, imma just go straight to the point. Im wondering if anyone else have poor vision in the dark? Like not complete blindness but its harder to make out things. I would go from my bathroom (which has lights on) to my bedroom, which is pitched black. It takes a little bit for my eyes to finally make it more easier to see. But im wondering why do I have that moment of like temporarily "blindness"? Again, my vision is not like pitched black, I can see thing that has light to it (ex. my LED charger that glows). But it has to take a while to see fully. But my night vision cant even compare to my normal day vision. I dont know if its because Im not wearing glasses or contacts but its blurry, dark (obvi), and just not as good. Its always have been like this. This is like common sense but ever since I needed glasses, my night vision gotten worse or ever time I take contacts or glasses out/off. Is this normal? I went to the eye doctor like 1 week ago and he said nothing, just that I need new glasses (-2.5 now).
then you just need new glasses. if you go from dark to light you lose your night vision and will take a bit of time for it to return . once your eyes readjust to the dark you should see fine again.
