I been on the medication for over six months. The only thing I have experience is the dry ejaculations. I don't mind at all. I have two grown children, so in a way I can care less if semen comes out or not. I am very pleased and it stopped me from going to pee 10 times or more a night. The one thing I have experienced that i would like to ask ; has anyone of you guys experienced double ejaculations. I ejaculate dry (intense orgasm) and immediately I ejaculate with semen. I had always read that men could have multiple orgasm, and I have been doing the exercise to accomplish it. I don't know if iI finally trained myself to have multiple ejaculations or if it is due to the medication. In the mean time i am enjoying my explosive ejaculations. Has anyone experienced the same?
I was on tamsulosin (Flomax) for about a year. For the first few months I was taking only one pill a day. It didn’t seem to help my BPH much, if at all, so we increased the dosage to 2 pills per day. The effect on the BPH was minimal at best, but I continued to take it while self-cathing and researching how to address the BPH. I had read about dry ejaculations with Flomax, but I experienced the opposite. My ejaculations became more forceful and had at least twice the volume. About 3 weeks after the Rezum procedure, I stopped taking the tamsulosin, and the semen volume and force went back to where it had been all my life.
