Positive...

result!! GP is referring me to Rheumatology! So I guess thats a move in the right direction.

He stated that just because the blood results didnt highlight inflammation, doesn`t mean it couldnt be osteoarthritis.

Least thats better than \"its coz u have a tummy\".

Ive also started taking Glucosamine. And cod liver oil capsules. Can`t do any harm huh.

I hope everyone is well and that u all have a fab weekend.

Hi Skye

You did right thing seeing different doctor. Good result so hopefully they will check whether osteo or fibro. Or like me you probably have both.

They did the pressure point test on me and I had 11 out of 18. Apparently you need eleven and above for them to say it is fibro. They also gave me a steriod injection in the top of my hip. This didn't work for me but was a good sign. When I saw rheum a few weeks ago said because if didn't work meant that it was fibro. If it had worked would have been osteo. Didn't see to do much good for my osteo anyway.

How are Ian and Connor now. Hope they are feeling better. Thanks for asking about my dad came home late yesterday afternoon.

Went for my physio today. The only thing I have really noticed is that since having physio haven't had any stiffness in the mornings since doing exercises. He was checking my back today and working on my knees that are the worse with OA and Fibro. Feel quite sore now but not doing any exercises today think a session with physio is enough.

Looking after Sophie my little granddaughter from about 10.30 in the morning until at least midnight. Stewart is about to help me. She is six weeks old now.

Just taken 20mg of ampytripline tonight as doctor said I could increase it to see if it helped me sleep better. See what happens tonight lol.

Have a good weekend and catch up soon. So pleased you got a good result  Makes you feel so much better when they finally believe you.

Take care

Hi Tess,

Thats great that your dad got home...

Ian and Connor are much better thanx. Still coughing a bit, but on the whole, much better than they were.

Yes, Im pleased that someone has actually trusted my judgement! Your made to feel that uve lost the plot when ur in pain and there doesn`t seem to be a cause. Like many of us have been made to feel...hypochondriacal! So yes, a step in the right direction. Even if it enables a diagnosis....at least u know whats going on with u . Coz to be honest, allsorts were in my mind....MS being one of them.

Did u get a better sleep last nite? I sure hope so. I can`t cope without sleep!

Hope u and Stewart have a fun day with little Sophie....

Ian and I are going to \"have a look\" in the tattoo shop. I want a new (and final 1) tattoo for my Christmas. Thats a laugh, rock chick Lindy hobbling along...  ohhhhh hellllppppp..... The mind is still a rock chick.....its the body that refuses to comply.. :D

Take Care

Catch up soon.

Hi Skye

Pleased to hear Ian and Connor are feeling better. It is good when you finally get taken seriously. Like you say you do worry about what else it can be1  You must be so relieved that finally you might get some answers. What tattoo are you going to have?

I had a bit better sleep so might try to again tonight. Got Sophie here now and having a nap. Amy gone home to get ready for Wedding but coming back later and give her another feed. Then get changed here. She is going to stay here tonight and feet Sophie overnight. That make it so much better for Stewart and me. Stewart going into work tomorrow on overtime.

I shall just have lazy day tomorrow. Be the first Sunday for a few weeks as invited the children round for Sunday dinner.

Well take care and talk soon.

Time to have a cuppa before Sophie wakes lol
