Hi noticed some irritation on the penis glans and on the foreskin on Saturday morning. skin was dry and appeared to be wrinkled and peeling. Applied Daktarin which has cleared things up a little. skin is still dry and be quite itchy especially on the foreskin around the corona area.
Sexually active with same partner for last 7 years.
Do you wash your penis with soap when showering?
Honestly this looks exactly like mine. It gets worse when erect and looks like more vessels under the glans and inflamed. Been struggling with it for 18 months and no resolution (sorry to s are you) my trigger was unprotected oral, have you received that recently? do either of you have hsv1, coldsores?
Still going here mate. Cipro sorted me out for a few weeks but short dose. Had a ultrasound which confirmed mild epididymitis but basically brushed off and told its not really an issue. Brilliant. Still getting the issues with gland with discolouration and almost cut like marks at time mainly under foreskin and around corona.

hi guys, I too have had this for the past 2 months and canesten cream has not been working. May i ask how this issue affects sex if u guys have had experience ? Am heading off to college and wanna know if life is gonna be hell with this issue
you been tested for sti's? think it effects everyone differently as people have different stories and symptoms. My trigger was unprotected oral and symptoms have lasted for over 12 months. It effects me with sex yes, just feels uncomfortable and hot, i guess part is in my head as dont know the exact cause. Good luck.
sorry guys just seen your replies. the initial irritation and dryness seemed to pass after a few days but still have blotchy type marks under the glans.
Had STI test in January all negative. Had same partner for a long time. i do have days where i need to pee more but it could be the anxiety of this.
Anus is itchy at times too and can get inflamed.
its the fact the dots on the glans look like mine that i am interested i this post and other symptoms seem to stack up. Can i ask did you receive unprotected oral? also did your test include herpes? this is not often included.
it did but it was a urine test not a swab. That was negative. ive been told herpes wouldnt last that long it would go away after around 10 days. i was concerned about HPV but would it remain dormant that long i dont know.
Has the GP said anything to you?
ive received unprotected oral a few times but with the same partner. i couldnt point it to that though as it happens without that.
urine test is useless for herpes. id say get a blood test.
basically i have seen so many professionals and done so many tests and only positive for hsv1 by blood. Never had coldsores or any symptoms so this came as a surprise. So many people have hsv so dont know if i got it before and asymptomatic?
my thoughts are herpes has effected my nerves and presented like this. all doctors say it doesnt do this and goes away but nobody really understands the virus.

ive had coldsores so a blood test would show that up on me i would think. Another thing aswell whilst this was present would you not pass it on if it was herpes? have you been swabbed?

okay well yes it should show up for hsv1. Have you been with the same person for a long time? have you had sex since unprotected and no complaints? does your partner also have herpes?

ive been with the same partner for 13 year but one mishap around 7 years ago which still haunts me today. its this that has my mind.racing to be honest.
ive had unprotected for the last 14 months and as far as i know my partner does.not have herpes. im assuming i would have passed it on in this time. i may be wrong though. i suffer from anxiety about this and have seen numerous professionals and had numerous tests also again spending more. money than i would care to imagine.

how long have you had the dots/issues only recently or since the other encounter 7 years ago? no i have not as im scared to pass this on. It sounds like this is affecting us both in a similar way. I received unprotected oral and ever since had issues down there, penis and bum. My meatus feels sore today. Its different all the time, dry redish scrotum, red dots more prominent, like small blood vessels on my glans, meatus sore, need to pee more, loose stools, erections arent the same. I could go on. Currently on pregabalin, hells with my head abit, but no relieving symptoms. Also trying antivirals again. Wish they still had the char function on here.
also get weird rash and slots and itching on my body, mainly legs and torso and often goosebumps randomly on inner groin and forearm and tummy.
To be honest ive probably had the dots before and never thought anything of it bit for the past 14 months my anxiety has increased 10 fold. its always had a redness to it but my glans skin was really dry and flaky for this episode. Spoke to online doctor who indicated it looked like.thrush. Used Daktarin and to be fair the dryness cleared and some of the larger red patches cleared but these dots still remain.
Problem is there is nothing to Swab as there are no blisters or liquid for herpes and would it linger this long? Thing is ive unprotected alot of times in the last 14 months and my partner has not mentioned anything and im thinking i would have defo passed something on. might be wrong though bit i also think herpes.can be worse for a women. Other half had her Pap smear the other week and nothing mentioned from that internal.exam.
Im wondering it could be bacterial as the mouth can have loads of different bacteria thats not sexually related. There is this microgen test in the US but its expensive
Convinced myself ive had everything tbis past year which ia not good for your head. Doctor has put me on anti depressants.
The peeing side and pain started about December after i got particularly anxious about something. Done urine sample nothing found. Was giving cipro for 4 weeks felt ok. The peeing thing comes and goes to be honest and i wonder if that is stress related.
Thr anal itching started around February time this year again high stress. Went to GP said i had external Piles. Somedays worse than others.
i think you can get fixated and you tend to constantly look and notice change and that is the problem. like a cycle.
