I've posted here a couple of times with new symptoms I have been dealing with the past however long months now (I don't have a timeframe so this is my new timeline description). For those who have not read my posts. I am a 64 year old man. I have had strokes, seizures, heart attacks, Coranary Artery disease, CVSD, Cerebrovascular disease etc. I had been dealing with memory loss issues for almost a year before I saw my last Neurologist March 2017. He told me I have short term memory loss due to all the strokes I've had but never explained to me what short term memory loss is. I also stutter, my doctor said its due to the Lacunar strokes I've had one the right side of my brain. My new symptoms: short term memory loss, communication (talking, listening, writing, repetitive etc), Apathy, Mood Swings, Depression, Can't follow Story Line (reading, watching movies, tv shows etc quit all of it), Vision issues, Roaming, Confusion, There's something else going on that I need to add to my list but I never thought about it until a little while ago. I've given it a title, it's called, "My Mental Spider's Web." This can include anything but I gave it this title for my writing. Here are a few examples: My best friend lives in Ghana Africa so we talk to each other by email or instant messenger. I wrote him 5 or 6 emails but I never sent them because I never finished writing them. Like the spiders web in the beginning everything is fine, I know why I am writing him and the subject I want to talk about but somewhere along the way, about a quarter way through its like I now am slowly getting tangled up in this web, I get stuck I even forget why I even writing him in the first place and I will start writing about something different. So let's say I wanted to say to my friend John Hi John, weather here is great how's the family. So less then a 10 word email ends up being a 300 word email about a car I drove in high school. I get caught up in this mental spider's web, the spider begins spinning around in circles wrapping me in its web and now is taking me down the dark black funnel web of no return so I have to start all over again. This will go on and on and on and on where finally I give up. Yesterday I wanted to copy on a sheet of writing paper a current list of my medications. It's 2 pages because I take a lot of meds. I spent almost 4 hours and I went through probably 10 sheets of paper and I still haven't got it done. My wife had been trying to understand what I go through when I talk or big word want to communicate. I said I think there are 26 letters in our ałphabet from A to Z I now only have 18 letters so trying to think of words to speak with less letters is like me trying to learn a new language. It started off with I knew the words in my head I wanted to say but by the time the words came out of my mouth they were not the words in my head. Then it changed. I no longer could even think of the words in my head so I would just speak and some family members got offended or mad and the harder I tried to explain myself I couldn't even do that the worse it got so I quit talking. See, I'm in the mental spider's web just a little. I have not even shared with my doctor any of this and I won't be able to until end of September. So had anyone experienced any of my symptoms or most of my symptoms and were diagnosed with dementia and what kind of dementia. I just need to know
My medication I've been on the same meds for over 2 years, there been nothing else going on. So if anyone can help, please help. And I would like to know about my Mental Spider's Web. Thank You.
