first off I have severe anxiety problems. I also have high cholesterol which I’m taking medicine for and her blood pressure which I am also taking medicine for but I have random chest pain on left side and shoulder pain on the left side that goes down my arm and sometimes random neck pain the pain doesn’t last but a few minutes to a few seconds but I was wondering if someone could tell me if it’s possible Heart related
I have had multiple EKGs that came back OK and chest x-rays which were normal
where on your neck is the pain?
Hi Cody. The pain you’re experiencing could be as a result of any number of issues - from indigestion, mild arthritis, right up to angina - which could be plague build up if you have high cholesterol. I have no heart or arterial problems but I get that type of pain from OA in the neck and a rotator cuff injury and ruptured bicep tendon. However, if the pain is angina or arterial blockage related, you will need an angiogram not an Echo, the latter can determine if the heart is pumping ok but wont necessarily show any artery blockages.
