I got blood tested for stds including herpes on july 7th. Everything came back negative. About a week later I got these random ingrown hair like pimples on the shaft on my penis. Does it look like herpes or possible bacterial infection?
that looks very suspicious of herpes to me. what kind of blood test did you get? IGM or IGG? also how long was the blood test after the sexual encounter you are concerned about?
I got a igm test. I wasn’t concerned about a sexual encounter. Just wanted to get checked because a previous partner had BV. Got tested on the 7th which everything was negative then around the 12th I got those bumps. Im waiting on swab results to come in anyday now.

tell them you want an IGG test and then re-test after 16 weeks. these tests are so unreliable
