hi, i am extremely anxious as i just found out i was exposed to HIV a while ago. a guy i hooked up with twice last year, once in June and once in early October, told me to day he is HIV positive and he hasnt been with anyone since he was with me. he doesnt know where he got it. i got tested in mid october and it came back negative so i know i didnt get it from him on the first hookup because that was outside the 3 month window. i am going to get tested but i have to wait a week to do so and then another week to get results. i am very anxious and i am wondering if anyone can give me any advice on how probable i am to have it. we didnt use protection because i trusted him. i topped and i read that it is less likely to get it as a top. i am also uncut and i read that can increase chances of getting it. i dont know what to think but im very anxious so any advice or information would be really helpful, thanks.
All you can do is continue to get tested. You make great points and are aware of your personal risk.
i think you’re doing all that you can for now.. which is good. its just the waiting game from here. I wouldn’t engage on sexual activity until you can find out what’s going on.

until you find out forget about it for 2 weeks. keep yourself busy in something else divert your mind.
as you mentioned top has less chances, so its less chances just know that. and relax .
as you were not contracted by it earlier then it can be same this time. just relax and be busy.
