IF I DONT EAT EVERY 2 OR 3 HOURS, I SUDDENLY GET VERY WEAK AND SHAKEY AND FEEL LIKE IM GOING TO COLLAPE. IM NOT DIABETIC AND IVE HAD TESTS TO PROVE IT. COULD IT BE THYROID PROBLEMS.
Hi
Iv'e not heard of that happening with thyroid, I have been both over and under active but have never experienced that, sounds more like blood sugar levels. Do you have any other thyroid symptoms? easy enough to be tested for it.
Yes i have the same problem. I don't know if it is connected to the thyroid or not. I have also been tested many times for Diabetes and its not that.
Hypo's as i call them are not usually listed on sympton check lists but there is one site that lists them but i can't remember which one it is.
I am about to post another topic about fatty liver disease which was found when i went to see the doctor about my hypo's.
hi, i was diagnosed as over active in dec but, before the diagnosis one of my symptoms was having to eat a lot especially sweet things. i was tested for diabetes but, this was negative. when i saw the endo he told me that this was a symptom of thyroid problems along with many others, everyone is different & do not neccessarily experience the same symptoms. hang in there it will get better. elaine.
I've just read your message. I don't know if this will help, but if you aren't already doing so, I suggest you eat whole foods as much as possible: wholemeal bread, whole cereals (Shredded Wheat, Weatabix, Muesli, etc), leave skins on potatoes, lots of fruit and veg, no white bread, no rubbish puddings, eat brown rice and pasta, no quick fixes like junk foods, no pop of any description, plenty of water, tea, no coffee. Eat foods that are sustaining like proper porridge, an egg, perhaps. Have a trial of this and it should stop your sugar level dropping like that.
Best wishes
