I'm dreading the cast and the boot again it's medieval torture. Good luck please keep me updated let me know what physio you get etc.. This time I'll not be fobbed x
I have prearranged MRI scan and surgery abroad next week. Today need to find out how the process work to claim money back from nhs for the treatment abroad. Also I have changed my consultant in UK, so will see him later this week, based on the outcome might fly it is my leg so I want it fixed asap without cock ups.
I wish I'd known you could do that on reflection I wish I'd known a lot more. My aim was to be up dancing around this month I thought that 6 months was my magical ending. I wish you all the best luck x
not much you can do now, look ahead, all will be ok. lesson learned double check what nhs doctors are doing, worth paying private consultation to make sure best care received. if i would be you i would definitely get in touch with negligence claims lawyers, get all the medical records about your injury, takes up to 30 days from the day hospital will receive your request in writing. i have got a boot today, feels so heavy and huge after plastic cast. will start careful toe touch with crutches. scan my leg early next week to see how it heals. hope all is well and 3 weeks not wasted.
My MRI scan showed I've still got a partial tear unfortunately until the virus is over I've to wait. My next appointment is June 30th I will be assessed again possible operation or a tendon transfer. I hope alls going well with you please keep safe xx
Hi sorry never give a update I was operated Sept 2020. Had a FHL tendon transfer. My surgeon was astonished at my speedy recovery within 6 months I was in tip toes hopping.. Even stairs and ladders. My leg is good yes at times a little stiff I'm 💯 happy with the result x
