Experiência após cirurgia de catarata com implante de lente intraocular monofocal

I am looking to see if any one had similar experience and how you deal with it.
Background:
I am 43 yrs old with Cataract in right eye it bothered me on/off with pressure and also I could not read short/long distance and was blurry. I tried tinted glasses and even that gave me headache and could not work on computer. I feel like I miss some details when working because I could not see clearly from right eye.
From last 2 years I am visiting my eye doctor. he suggested to do Cataract surgery on each of my visit to him. I finally decided to do surgery with a believe that my productivity will increase after having clear vision. Also doing it at young age eye will heal faster and cataract would not cause much harm to eye.

I went for surgery and all other patients were all >20 yrs older than me.

Surgery experience was very good. He implanted Toric IOL monofocal

Day 1 - I was able to see 25/25 and read the full vision chart. I was very happy.
Day 12 checkup - I could not read any single line of vision chart. Doctor said eye looks good and lens is in correct position but there is some inflammation on the thin film over eye lens and its wavy which is causing vision not clear and should go away in some time. I am continuing the anti-inflammatory eye drops.
Any one had similar experience and how did you deal with it. Did it got better or worse. Please share your experience.

I have had cataract surgery on one eye at age 70, about 6 months ago. Eye was checked the next day by the surgeon, and then at 3 weeks and 6 weeks by my optometrist. Each time it was better, and I can see a bit better than 20/20 with it now. It is a monofocal but I can see pretty good at 18-20 inches. Under that starts to get difficult. Seems to me that I administered one of the two eye drop types right out to 21 days.

I did not experience anything like you are describing with a film over the eyes and wavy vision.

I did not have a similar experience post op. For 24 hours I was bot able to see well but day 2 things just progressed. Keep taking the drops prescribed. I think one of the drips i used for 2 weeks and the other i used for 4 or 5 weeks. It could very well be your eyes still swollen. Unfortunately I don’t think younger you are for cataract surgery means you heal faster. There is actually stats that indicate for younger patients (particularly men) they are more susceptible for retina detachment. Younger you are your pupils dilate more too and for dome that causes issues in low light/dark environments.

If not due to swelling the one thing about toric lenses is they are prone to rotate and may need to be rotated back or laser correction. You should have a scheduled 2 week follow up with surgeon so he or she an check to see if your lens is correctly placed
