Hi folks, 3 days ago I had a circumcision due to a tight foreskin.
When I got home I noticed that it appeared they had cut my foreskin and tucked it back in on itself so it looks like I’m still paritially uncut as only a portion of the head is exposed. From what I can find online, they refer to this as a ‘low and loose’ circumcision.
My main concern is aftercare. Most online instructions and all aftercare advice given by the hospital is geared towards a much fuller circumcision with an obvious wound around the penis. With mine, I can pull the skin back as much as is comfortable but I still can’t quite see the wound and stitches. I’m worried that I’m not able to get in to clean it at this stage. Is this something I should be concerned about? Maybe with the wound not being exposed it doesn’t have to be cleaned directly?
Also, by doing it this way, it’s made the new skin around the head of my penis look very chunky (the only word I can use to describe it), I wonder if this is something that will settle down in time?
Any advice from anyone who’s had a circumcision like this would be much appreciated.
