Post fibroid resection and endometrial ablation.

Has anyone who has had the ablation and fibroid resection - had bleeding four weeks after. I think this is somewhat normal. Am waiting second resection in five weeks just fed up of bleeding now. Thanks

Yes and I bled for quite awhile after that surgery  - unfortunately it failed and I had to have a hysterectomy 2 months later - I am now 3 months post op hysterectomy and feel great.  I literally bled before first surgery for 92 days and heavy - I am sooo glad to be done with all that

Hello I just had a Endometriosis alblation last week and I haven’t had any bleeding at all only a heavy discharge. You may want to ask your doctor why you are having bleeding like that but I know everyone is different.

Thanks for responding how did you know if failed ?

The bleeding would not stop and got worse so I got a 2nd opinion and found that the fibroid was not removed  completely and in an area where ablation or myomectomy would no longer work and only option was hysterectomy
